Goolgowi Pub Fundraiser

Massive thanks to Chief and Helen for holding the event at the pub.

Kicking off the yabbie races off at 2.30pm we expected they would go for $30 each, by the end of the first round the average was $45 and the second round averaged $120 a yabbie. Needless to say the winners of that second race were pretty ecstatic. We had guest speaker Matt Molly come down for the day (I may of asked him 2 days previous for him to come down and be a guest speaker for me) thanks heaps for that mate its much appreciated. The raffle tickets sold like hot cakes and everyone got stuck into the auction and as soon as that was over the dance shoes came on until closing time then there may of or may not of been an after party…….

The day was filled with Yabbie races, booze, food, a raffle, speeches and an auction and in total raised $5115.

Thank you to the following people for their donations for either the raffle or the Auction:

To everyone who brought in Yabbies and those who purchased the yabbies thank you. I think we can all agree it got a bit hectic when 10 yabbies went for $1200 haha absolute ripper of a day.
